The Tideline Journal reads its mail. Corrections, source suggestions, a broken link, a page that answered a question well or failed to, all reach the editorial desk at [email protected]. Messages are read by the editorial team and answered where an answer is useful.

What to write

Short and factual works best. A correction names the page and the sentence, and if possible the public source that contradicts it. A suggestion names the subject and the reader's situation in a line or two. The desk applies verified corrections without argument, and credits nothing publicly unless asked.

What this desk cannot do

It cannot answer medical questions, interpret results, recommend a clinician or book an appointment. The Tideline Journal is a magazine, and its mail is an editorial channel, not a clinical one. For care, the guides point where to go: a family practice for most things, described in the family medicine basics, and the emergency department or the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline for anything urgent, as set out in the patient portal guide.

Before writing

The page may already exist. The sections cover visits, physicals and portals in family medicine, teeth at every age in family dental care, counseling and bullying in mental health, and fees, scales and community programs in affording care. The about page explains what this site is and is not, including its relation to the domain's earlier occupant.
